Upload a queued After Effects comp in 2 clicks. When you choose to upload the full contents of the project, the organization of files and folders in Frame.io is the same as the Project panel This even includes nested folders. So if your goal is to share a project and source files, you can choose to do so at any time with just a couple of clicks. The Frame.io folder contains all of the same source files. Because any After Effects project also depends on source clips, there is also one-click access to create a new folder on Frame.io that matches a folder in the After Effects Project panel. You can also choose to upload the project itself in a single click. Shape Layers match the original annotation made in Frame.io. Comment/annotation markers appear on the Frame.io Guide Layer. That way, there’s less clutter and no possibility of losing track of the shot due to a typo or other mistake. Instead of giving each version of the same shot a unique name, you can use the same name for all of them. This even solves a pesky problem in After Effects: naming conventions. We designed Frame.io to make it easy to view A/B comparisons. With this feature, all of the version of the shot are directly available in one place for easy comparison. What’s more, all of those versions remain available with their comments and annotations. Instead, the shot thumbnail image adds a number to indicate the number of iterations. Update the same shot for a fifth time and you’ll see the number 5 in the upper right corner. When you upload a queued comp that was already queued and uploaded, you won’t see a new item in the Frame.io project. Once you’ve addressed changes to a shot, we all know that shot isn’t necessarily final. That’s why this integration stacks multiple numbered versions of a single shot. Auto version every change you makeĪfter Effects is all about iteration. Once you import them, they live in a Guide Layer that is added to the top of your comp. Comments and annotations appear in the panel in real-time. The rendered version of the shot doesn’t include them. If you’re an After Effects artist, that means you can work directly with these comments and annotations and simply disable the layer when you want to preview without them. They use Shape Layers, another toolset that is already part of After Effects. The text includes information on who added the comment, and when it was made.Īnnotations that are drawn on the frame in Frame.io are also displayed via the non-rendering Guide Layer. You can read it right Composition Viewer. The comment itself looks like a subtitle. Where you see a marker in your composition, there is a frame that contains a comment, annotation, or both. It appears at the top of the layer stack in the corresponding After Effects comp.Ī Guide Layer is specifically designed not to render. When you choose to sync your After Effects project, Frame.io displays verbal comments and visual annotations in a Guide Layer. One of the most inventive additions to this new release is the integration of comments and annotations. Here, it is shown sharing the Project panel. The Frame.io panel can be custom positioned anywhere in After Effects. You choose a local location to save the rendered file, then click Upload. The shot renders in the Render Queue, and once the render is complete, it automatically uploads to the project and location open in the panel. When a shot is ready to render, click Upload at the top of the panel and choose Upload Queued Comps. We adapted the underlying technology with features that we added specifically for the shot-based environment of After Effects.Īs you work, you’re never more than 2 clicks away from uploading a queued composition. We’ve brought all the time saving, real-time collaboration features of Frame.io like time-based comments, annotations, and version control, and redesigned them to feel completely at home in After Effects. The custom Frame.io panel is directly accessible in the After Effects UI.Īfter the incredibly successful release of Frame.io for Premiere Pro at NAB 2016, which has now reached over 200,000 filmmakers around the world, we’re now adding all of those collaboration capabilities into Adobe After Effects. Once again, this provides interaction with the entire Frame.io application. Our real-time collaboration layer has revolutionized how editors work in Adobe Premiere Pro. Now, the same toolset has been integrated into Adobe After Effects. Today we’re moving our Adobe Creative Cloud integration beyond the NLE. RAR is a container format (much like the media container formats for video/audio), so it's not really apples to apples to compare it to bzip. RAR and WinZip are dead, and even 7z.exe is only on my computer as a command-line version to plug into Peazip (I think). Because I want one tool that handles compressed files, and only one. I used IZArc for years until it went ad-ware, and I'm now on Peazip. and used RAR rather than ZIP (before 7z existed) to get a few more bytes on the disk. Far beyond the old releases where people would down-sample in-game FMV just to try to shrink it into a sensible number of RAR files, etc. To be honest, compression is far less an issue now than it ever was. Data storage corruption is far less of an issue than it ever was now.ħz has better compressions, but nothing that ZIP couldn't add with a "ZIP v4" or whatever we're up to now (PK/WinZIP extended ZIP with AES encryption, etc. RAR should have been dead since the days of the floppy, though, it's only used as some kind of "hacker" cachet label, to show you were around in the heyday of "Software Name (cracked).r57" and hoping and praying you could get the complete set off Usenet before it disappeared.Įven PAR (which is designed to have a configurable amount of redundancy to avoid data corruption) is pretty niche and obsolete nowadays. ZIP could do it (hell, I even know the PKZIP command-line syntax even today), but RAR allowed you to add some more "integrity" to the files so they were more likely to survive corruption. RAR was best for integrity and spanning disks across large sets. Since kills and assists reduces the time of where you receive the boots and the bonus movement speed the boots offers makes your roaming capabilities better by a slight margin.įuture's Market: Allows you to enter debt with a limit while purchasing items, essentially allowing you buy items you don't have enough gold for yet. The boots are very advantageous in games where you have potential for snowballing and/or you know you'll be roaming a lot. Magical Footwear: Gives free boots with extra movements speed, which is always pretty convenient on assassins, as it further increases their mobility (which is their strong suit) and lets you put that 300g into offensive items instead. However, the keystone also synergizes well with the way Zed's early game trading and skirmish patterns works, allowing you proc it consistently in majority of matchups. Treasure Hunter and Relentless Hunter are also viable on Zed, just not equally lucrative in my opinion.įirst Strike's gold and damage amp shines in the mid and late game. Ultimate Hunter is very befitting Zed, as it offers coldown reduction on his ultimate, his prime ability. While Eyeball Collection is easier to stack, the vision control Zombie Ward offers is more beneficial than a little more AD earlier on. Optionally you can pick Sudden Impact in its place, which procs with both Living Shadow (Only when you actually swap places with the shadow) and Death Mark, and offers a timely boost of 7 Lethality. Taste of Blood offers decent sustain in lane. It adds vital burst, and procs very easy with Zed. Electrocute is arguably one the best keystones on Zed. So many plot holes and things that make little sense. The more I thought about it on the way home, the less sense it made. Leaving the cinema I was pleasantly entertained, thinking the movie was not amazing but enjoyable. I went into this movie with zero expectations really believing the theory that the controversies are to distract from a poor film. Black mirror gets away with being tropey because it uses those tropes to explore societal issues and moral quandaries, this film could have benefited from more of that. Maybe a bit on the nose but I think the movie would have been better had they leaned into that angle a little more overtly. The intro to the VR world which was talking about happiness in the movie said this in the script: It seemed like they intentionally took a lot of it out which is strange to me. They scrubbed a lot of that text/subtext from the original script and while the whole 1950's nostalgia and gender roles made that really apparent to me, it didn't seem to land with a lot of other people I've talked to about it. One thing I think that should have been more upfront that wasn't really obvious enough with the gender/ political aspect IMO, every person I saw the movie with completely missed the fact that Harry was supposed to be some alt-right "return to tradition" loser. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Review - Give it a force push By:Jonathan Titmuss. Kyle (as well as many other characters in the game) keep calling the hotel owned by a man named Dunning Smith a " dump" constantly, but he registers for Room 215 regardless. Kyle's slightly obsessed about finding the man even though he does it only to make himself feel better about what he'd done (shoot Bradley whom he knows) and to learn the truth about what Bradley had done as he still doesn't understand Bradley's motivations. Kyle mentions that he'll be doing this type of work until he finally finds Bradley as he begins his journey because of him - throughout the story, especially at the end of each chapter, Kyle thinks of Bradley in rather unrealistic ways. The company of Ed's does a little bit of side work of finding things that are hidden than just selling items however, and this time Ed has a job for Kyle at a building named Hotel Dusk. Kyle Hyde, a man who quit the police force three years before the start of this story works as a salesman under a man named Ed Vincent who happens to be the friend of Kyle's late father (note: Understanding Kyle's father's fate is the main plot point of the sequel The Last Window: Secret of Cape West) and the boss of a company called Red Crown. I reviewed its sequel Last Window a while back and decided to get on the first game as well as I was actually impressed by how cozy the story felt, in fact Last Window is one of the better DS to 3DS games I've played. Hotel Dusk was developed by Cing on Nintendo DS before the company went bankrupt in 2010. Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (2007), much like its sequel Last Window: The Secret of Cape West (2010), is an investigation point-and-click adventure and mystery game that is half somewhat sluggy and limited 3D gameplay consisting of mostly moving forward with very limited camera angles, and other half of it is visual novel styled gameplay with rotoscoped character models that honestly look great. The man who shot the gun wakes up to learn that this time his experience was but a dream. The man gets up while shaken and angry, and decides to head somewhere where he takes up his gun and shoots up Bradley. In the police HQ a man gets a phone call which has to do about a person named Bradley. "Two souls but a single thought, two hearts that beat as one."įriday, New York. |
