Run Madden in compatibility mode and choose Windows XP (service pack 3). For some reason, this makes the next step work.ģ. Then I downloaded the newest DirectX files (ask ultimatum about where to find these) and I reinstalled Madden.Ģ. If you don't mind sharing did you update via the web or physical disc/dvd/usb stick? Usually web updates allow roll over of direct X files while physical installs from discs/usb sticks sometimes overwrite the direct X files. Good to know, thanks for posting, you probably had the correct direct x files installed in Win 8.1 (which you upgraded to W10) and those probably got rolled over onto your new OS Win10 platform.
